One of the foremost Real Estate firms in Nigeria, T. PumpyConcept Nigeria Limited has given reasons for its newest project which is the construction of a Mega City in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT).
The Managing Director of T. Pumpy Concept, AkintayoAdaralegbe at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday said the Mega City project located in Gude, Apo axis of the FCT was designed to provide quality and affordable housing to thousands of middle and low-income Nigerians.
The firm has a history of high performance. Presently, it has numerous estates in places like Lugbe, Kuje, Katampe (both Main and Extension), Guzape (both Main and Apo), Idu, Kubuwa Extension, Karsana, Kurudu, and Jitewoyi and states like Oyo and Ekiti and presently working on its Ogun State office.
Akintayo disclosed that the Mega City which is a product of vision and long planning will comprise 5000 units of houses with different sizes of plots—500sqm, 300sqm, and 200sqm as well as commercial spaces for schools, plazas, shops and places of worship.
According to the Managing Director, “the Mega City is not just a place to live; it’s a complete community. We are creating an estate that combines residential homes, commercial spaces, and recreational areas, all in one.
“It is a place where people can work, live, and play together in a vibrant, well-connected environment”.
On whether the Mega City will be affordable for Nigerians he said “We understand that affordability is a big challenge, so we’ve designed flexible payment plans to make owning a property in Mega City possible for more people. We have different sizes of homes for different budgets, so anyone can find something that works for them”
Giving more insight into affordability, Akintayo revealed that 500sqm goes for 5 million Naira, 300sqm 3.5 million Naira,while 200sqm is 2.5 million Naira adding that prices are affordable, and the payment plans are easy to manage.
He disclosed further “At T-Pumpy, we believe in building more than just houses, we are building a sustainable and modern community. We are designing the roads and drainage systems to ensure smooth mobility and reduce flooding.
“We will have perimeter fencing and controlled access to improve security, so our residents can feel safe and at peace. Our firm is making sure there’s a reliable power supply for both residential and commercial areas, so everyone has electricity”
“Another unique thing about the Mega City is that residents will receive an FCDA Certificate of Occupancy, which is a legal document that proves they own their property”
Responding to a question on how Nigerians can buy into the Mega City he said people need to take advantage of the company’s special pre-launch sales promo, stressing that the offer will last for just 17 days, from March 31, 2025, to April 17, 2025.
