She Won “Revelation of the Year” at the 6th edition of Emperor Awards and “Fast Rising Islamic Singer” at GIN 2023: The singer also won “Fast Rising Islamic Musician” at Mhizdija Fulani AKEWI Addicts Honorary Awards.

Why did you choose to be a Musician?
Music has always been my passion, allowing me to express emotions and connect with others. Music is my talent, and it’s given me more confidence to think and express myself. Being a musician allows me to tap into my creativity and share my art with others, inspiring and connecting with them through my songs.
How did you come about the name Irawoowuro?
The name Irawo Owuro, honestly, I believe God wanted me to bear this name. The person who gave me the name didn’t even know its meaning, and it wasn’t until years later that I discovered its significance. It’s like the name chose me, and I’m embracing its purpose.
What was the reaction of your parents when you started?
At first, my parents weren’t supportive, feeling that music wasn’t a job and also potentially dangerous. My parents were initially concerned about the music industry’s challenges, but they eventually supported my passion and encouraged me to pursue my dreams.
How were you able to release many studio tracks within a short span?
Dedication, hard work, and a strong creative vision enabled me to release many studio tracks. I prioritize my craft; stay focused and collaborate with talented artists to produce high-quality music.
What challenges have you faced in life, if any, and how were you able to overcome them
I’ve faced challenges like self-doubt, industry competition, and balancing creativity with commercial success. I overcame them by staying true to my art, seeking guidance, and persevering through tough times.
Would you like to share the greatest moment of your life as a Musician?
One of my greatest moments was performing live and seeing the impact of my music on people’s lives. It was an incredible experience connecting with my audience and feeling their energy and appreciation.
Are you still planning something big for the year 2025?
I’m excited about upcoming projects, including new music releases and collaborations. I’m working on innovative ideas to engage my audience and push creative boundaries.
What is that special thing that the world does not know about you?
I’m passionate about philanthropic activities, particularly supporting music education initiatives. I believe music has the power to transform lives, and I’d like to give back to my community.
What is your message to Nigerian youths, particularly young ladies?
My message to them is that they should stay focused, believe in themselves, and pursue their passions. Believe in your talent and potential, and don’t let anyone define your limits. Empower yourselves through education, creativity, and resilience, and never let societal expectations limit your potential.
Tell me your greatest dream in life?
My greatest dream is to leave a lasting legacy in the music industry, travel round the globe showcasing my music career, inspire future generations, and use my platform to promote positivity, unity, and cultural exchange
