What was the level of involvement of A-Law in the just concluded Nigeria Belgium Luxembourg Business Forum?
A-Law International Law Firm was one of the partners to the just concluded Nigeria Belgium Luxembourg Business Forum that was hosted by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Can you speak on the Belgians perceptive of the Business Forum?
Certainly, as a Belgian myself, I was very glad to see the large number of Belgian companies with over 20 years of experience in doing Business in Africa. It shows that Belgium is ready to move ahead from not only oil & gas but also focusing on healthcare, construction, etc.
What do you think Nigeria will benefit in the immediate and long term?
I believe that one of the positive outcomes of the Business Forum is that the image and perception of Nigeria has changed amongst the Luxembourg and Belgium business community.
Would you say the Embassy of Nigeria in Brussels performed to expectation with the organisation of the Business Forum?
Yes definitely, as one of the consultants for the Embassy of Nigeria in Belgium, I worked together with the team of the Embassy in the preparation and execution of the Business Forum. I look back at the just concluded Business Forum satisfied with a lot of positive feedback from the companies that attended.
Do you foresee the economy of Nigeria being transformed as an outcome of the Business Forum?
I believe that the Business Forum has shown what Nigeria has to offer in terms of business and investment opportunities. This will certainly have an impact in the short term and long-term regarding business ventures and investments into Nigeria from Luxembourg and Belgium.
