We grew up to know our General as a family friend and foremost community leader.

Oga, epitomizes discipline, integrity, honesty, reliability and selflessness.

He welcomes the rich and the poor, the old and the young warmly to his palatial home at all times.

Chief as fondly called will remain the brightest star from the modern day Omu-Aran and Kwara state in general.

As we mourn this awesome gem, we pray to Almighty God to grant him the best place in paradise.

Our uncle lives on

I join the rest of the family and Nigerians in general to celebrate the life and times of our uncle, the Asiwaju Igbomina/Ekiti, Brigadier-General David Bamigboye. Our people will never forget you for your uncommon performance as a Military Governor, building a strong foundation for the development of Kwara State . Like most Nigerians, I appreciate everything you did for the development of Kwara State and the good name you gave to our community, Omu-Aran.
